Started with one landlord in Barry Island I found on OpenRent. Pitched property management, not rent-to-rent - no deposits, no upfront cash, just helping landlords who didn't want the headache. That first relationship lasted 3.5 years. Quit my job 18 months in. Now I manage 300+ properties nationwide through StayRight with a team doing the heavy lifting. I write every Tuesday and Thursday about what's actually working - finding landlords, keeping them, scaling without burning cash, and building a service business that doesn't trap you.
